V I B E: Minimalistic, Edgy, Folk

Natalie & John’s desert wedding was EVERYTHING. These two got hitched at The Ruin Venue in June and every detail from the location down to the very last dance was absolutely perfect for this wild & free Joshua Tree wedding.

Being sure not to overpower the already amazing desert landscape, we kept the color palette neutral and the decor to a minimum to let the venue’s beauty shine through.

Dusty pink floral and fresh eucalyptus paired perfectly with the raw elements of The Ruin. For reception, hairpin tables lined with simple foliage sat under string lights creating the dreamiest space where these two celebrated their love story with their closest family and friends. Vintage lounge areas were nestled against the abandoned stone house this venue is known for,  and the cutest VW photo bus fit right in with the party. Oh, and we would be remiss not to mention their last dance which turned into one of the most fun farewells we have EVER SEEN (think mosh pit – ripped pants – and a whole lot of singing that could be heard from miles away)!

Congratulations Natalie & John! Your souls are truly beautiful together, xo
