V I B E: Edgy, Romantic
When Jarrod J Photo & Melissa Rey Photo invited us to be a part of this desert workshop at Rimrock Ranch in Joshua Tree, we could not have been more ecstatic! Together, we dreamt up some big ideas and could not wait to bring them to life for the shoot. Staying true to the edgy vibe of the property, we created the ultimate “Rugged Valentine Elopement.” The soft palette consisting of pale peach, shades of lilac, ivory, and muted sage was the perfect balance to the rustic surroundings that Rimrock Ranch has to offer.
In the outdoor area of the venue, we designed a simple ceremony space with romantic textured florals and a whimsical lounge area, complete with a vintage velvet sofa, a silver rug and coffee table and some black side chairs for a bit of contrast. These delicate elements complemented the natural, rugged backdrop of Joshua Tree perfectly. As you moved your way inside, you found what might have been one of our favorite tablescapes to date! Velvet chairs, lush foliage, gold dipped flatware, and metallic goblets and candlesticks lined the table to create a magical and ethereal vibe. Not to be dramatic or anything, but we pretty much wish we could dine at this table forever!
